One of our fantastic supporters has already made his New Year Resolution – and your support is needed to help him reach his goal.

Craig Huddart has set himself the amazing challenge of running 4225km in 2022 to raise funds for the Alan Shearer Foundation and the Northeast Autism Society, and he’s wasting no time getting started with the first leg already planned for January 1st.

Throughout the year, Craig will be running 10km every day, with a half marathon (21km) thrown in every seventh day for good measure.

Father of four, Craig, would like to spread his runs across the country and is hoping others will join him in not only raising funds but raising awareness of autism and other needs and disabilities.

“As a parent of children with autism, it’s a cause that’s really close to my heart,” said Craig. “I’ve decided to set myself this challenge because it reflects our daily life. For us, autism is a daily thing, not an annual awareness day, and I want people to see that autistic children and adults are incredibly exceptional individuals with so much to offer the world.”

To find out more about where Craig will be running, how to join him and how to donate, please contact Craig at his Facebook charity page or contact him through social media – details below.
